Overview:

Amazathon is a proven, easy, and effective school fundraising event where students complete easy and fun tasks and raise funds, with schools receiving significantly more books than the funds raised. For example, one school raised £457 and received books worth £3,870 for their library.

How It Works:

 

• Complete 12 Reading Bingo tasks and fundraise through family and friends.
• Every participant receives a book, as an award for reading and participation
• Schools raising over £1,000 receive an additional pack of books worth £100 from Expect Amazing.

 

Fundraised Amounts:

 

• 75p/book contribution per participant toward the books selected.
• Example: £1,000 raised by 200 participants results in £850 to spend on books with a retail value of £2,200+

 

Additional Details:

 

• Funds raised go toward buying discounted library books from Expect Amazing.
• Library book orders must be placed within 2 weeks of fundraising closure.
• Schools can set up a PTA account to access part-funded prices and request quotes for specific books.
